HA LLEGADO EL CALORET

Bueno, por lo menos oficiálmente, porque ya hace tiempo que está haciendo calor.
Ya sabeís de sobra que el calor no puede ser excusa para bajar la guardia y descuidar el entrenamiento.
Yo, me he puesto como meta, entrenar como míinimo, dos veces a la semana, y de momento lo estoy consiguiendo, así llegaré en forma a Septiembre y me plantearé alguna media,Alicante por ejemplo es una buena.
Lo importante es no perder fondo y disfrutar del caloret.
Os deseo un buén verano y ya sabeís que cualquier carrera que hagaís, hacédmelo saber y la pongo en el blog, también deciros que segúramente publicaré algo en la sección reflexiones de un runner por lo que ir consultando el blog de cuando en cuando.


Well, summer is arrived, although it has felt like summer for quite a while but it's oficially here.
I'm determined to keep on top form, training at least twice a week, and so far I'm succeeding.
Then, in September I'll be ready for a half marathon, the one in Alicante sounds good to me.
Anyway, I'd like to wish you a great summer and remenber, if you take part in any race, let me know straight away.
Ah! keep an eye in the blog because I´ll be focusing more in the Runner´s thoughts section.

10k NOCTURN PLATJA DE GANDIA

Con salida desde el Clot de la Mota y meta en el paseo marítimo, se disputó esta carrera nocturna en la población de Gandía.
La salida se daba a las 21h del sábado 30 de Mayo, cuando más de 4000 corredores se dieron cita ansiosos de cubrir los 10k de la prueba que transcurría en su totalidad, por el Grao de Gandía donde se concentró un numeroso público para animar a los más de 4000 corredores que disputaron la carrera.
Una buena carrera para hacer buén crono, a juzgar por el trazado tán llano.
Estos fueron nuestros heroes aquella noche.

A few fellow runners went to a particular race last Saturday May the 30th.
It was in Gandia´s sea front were, more than 4000 runners, gathered that night at 9 p.m., yes that late!,
to complete the 10k long and flat race.
Reports from those who took part say, that the atmosphere was superb with loads of public cheering up the runners.
These were our heroes that night.

XVIII CURSA POPULAR DE BENISSA

 El circuito de la Marina Alta 2015, vió su final el pasado 6 de junio, cuando a las 19h del pasado sábado desde la calle Pare Andrés Ivars, por supuesto en Benisa, eso ni se pregunta a estas alturas,más de mil runners tomaron la salida dispuestos a cubrir los 9´6k con una espectacular cuesta final de las que no se olvidan.
Enhorabuena a todos los que habeís acudido a las carreras representando al club y que lo habeís hecho tán bién.
Un fuerte abrazo y gracias de nuevo por vuestro esfuerzo.

 And finally the town of Benissa, as always, witnessed the final race of the nine that make the Marina Alta borough Circuit.
Last Saturday, June the sixth, at exactly 19h, more than 1000 runners departed the town center, willing to complete the 9´6k as well as they possibly could.
Nine from the club made it with great results.

XII SUBIDA ESCALERAS GRAN HOTEL BALI

A pesar de que Angel nos tenga acostumbrados a éxito tras éxito, yo, personálmente, me emocioné cuando me enteré de que Angel había acabado nada menos que quinto, en la dura y exigente subida al Gran Hotel Bali 2015, que esta año se sumaba al Circuito Mundial de la Towerrunning World Association de carreras verticales.
De un total de 150 participantes, no puede participar cualquiera, ganó un el checo Tomas Celko, que en su pueblo lo conocerán, al que si que conocemos bién es a Angel que acabo quinto con un crono de, 


Although we are used to Angel´s outstanding perfomances, this one can´t go unnoticed at all.
He finished fifth in the Bali Hotel race, that consists in runninf up to the top of the biggest hotel in Europe.
A total of 150 runners took part in the race, the winner from the Chec Republic did it in 4,39´´ and our champion, Angel, in a superb race did as follows,

XVII CURSA POPULAR DE ONDARA

Se vió en Ondara una buena carrera el pasado sábado,23 de Mayo.
Esa tarde se dieron cita, a las 19h en la avenida General Bosch,más de mil almas hambrientas de running,deseosas de devorar kilómetros como lobos devorando a su presa.En esta ocasión fueron 10k, apenas sin desnivel, los que tocaba completar en esta octava y penúltima prueba del circuito de la Marina Alta.
Las altas temperaturas no disuadieron a nadie de los que acudieron, tampoco a nada menos que nueve de los nuestros que acudieron a la cita.
Sus tiempos,muy meritorios,aunque reálmente, es lo de menos.


Ondara was the location of the eighth, one more to go, edition of the circuit wich name I´m not gonna mention again, enough is enough.
That Saturday evening, May the 23rd, more than a thousand runners, hungry of miles, met up at 19h on General Bosch street decided to complete the 10k,almost flat long race.
Nine or them, good attendance, were from the club with an outstanding performance.

XXIV CURSA POPULAR PEDREGUER

Encaramos la recta final del circuito de la marina en Pedreguer, esta vez,donde el pasado 16 de Mayo, se celebró la octava y antepenúltima edición, del circuito de la Marina Alta.
Aquel sábado, se dieron cita un buén puñado de runners a las 19h en la Plaza Mayor, para completar los 10k de esta carrera que cumple 24 años.
La organización estuvo a cargo del ayuntamiento y del C.A.Cametes.Entre los más de mil corredores que tomaron parte, seís de ellos representaron al C.A.Altea con estos resultados:

We are heading to the end of the circuit ,almost there,this time it was Pedreguer the location of the next race wich was the one before the last, the 8th.
At 19h of Saturday, May the 16th, from the "Plaza Mayor", main square,more than 1000 runners departed willing to endure the hot weather and complete the 10k long circuit.
As usual, it was all organised by the town hall and the local club, C.A.Cametes.
It was six from the C.A.Altea who made it this time with outstanding results:

XVIII CURSA POPULAR JESUS POBRE

La pedanía dianense de Jesús Pobre, fué el escenario de la séptima edición, del circuito de la Marina Alta.
Organizada por el EATIM de Jesús Pobre y el C.A.La Faixa, se disputó esta prueba con una distancia de 9´4k.bajo un sol de justicia el cual no impidió que más de 1000 corredores cruzaran la linea de meta situada en la Plassa del Poble, la salida se había dado a las 19h. del pasado sábado 9 de Mayo, desde el Camí del Pinaret.
Nuestro club, estuvo representado por seis valientes que lo hicieron exceléntemente como indican sus cronos.


Jesús Pobre was the location for the 7th edition of the Marina Alta´s borough circuit.
Under a biting sun, more than 1000 runners, completed this 9´4k long race last Saturday May the 9th.
The race began at 7p.m. from the hamlet´s square and was organised by the local running team called La Faixa.
Our club was well represented by six brave fellows and as you can see next their perfomance was second to none.
